MEGA FIST
- 2K punishes forward mega fist further than 5K (also safer on whiff if they're too far to get punished anyway)
- you can dash block forward megafist on reaction to get a better spacing for your punish
- backwards mega fist avoids and punishes 6S frame trap from 2/5P and 2K, don't autopilot that
- if you think they will megafist, the best way to stop it on reaction without giving them a chance to RRC is HVV, 6P and SVV are very inconsistent
FLICK
- vortex goes under flick, 5H 214P and 6S 214P into vortex will punish a flick attempt on the gunflame feint
- 5H/6S 214P 6H will trade with flick, without 214P it'll beat flick clean (probably safer than vortex since it can't be pot buster punished)
HAMMERFALL
- you can 6P it I guess
- after a normal hit 6P, late cancel into 214K will make it meaty and a bit plus
- early cancel into 214K will make it whiff and minus but in range to WT them
GARUDA IMPACT
- on wakeup midscreen you can backdash it, you might get hit but you'll sent very far and he won't be able to continue his offense
- when he does it outside of your wakeup, upback when you see it, it's actually minus when air blocked close to the ground (and if you upback early enough you'll just get out)
- maybe FD it I don't know it does like 1000 chip damage and it doesn't change his frame advantage since it's a guard crush
SURVIVING THE WAKEUP
- delay backdash should beat his layer 1 mixup (meaty or command throw)
- I think pot buster midscreen into hammerfall break into "meaty" is not really real oki, you should be about 0 if he comes point blank after HFB so don't hesitate to challenge with 5K (should beat or trade with most of his options) or jump back (he has nothing to hit during prejump if you're 0)
- otherwise you're on your own, you're fighting a grappler so you'll have to guess at some point on wakeup, especially after 2D or any corner knockdown(edited)
