The AppExchange team is made up of Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams who all come together to grow and support our ecosystem of ISV partners. The ISV Technical Evangelism team is made up of technical and product experts who enable and inspire our ISV partners to build amazing solutions using world-class technical resources and platform expertise. We enable ISVs to architect, develop, and distribute enterprise quality applications that power successful businesses and Trailblazers. Role Description: The ISV Technical Evangelism team is looking for an ISV Technical Evangelist to join our team of technical and product experts, serving as a strategic advisor and platform expert to our ISV partner community. As an ISV Technical Evangelist on the Commerce Cloud team, your role is to provide architecture, and technical guidance to our ISV partners as they build and expand their product solutions using the latest technologies available on the Salesforce platform and to run quality reviews on ISV developed Commerce integrations. In this role, you will work closely with our ISV prospects and partners and our ISV account managers, product managers, and partner programs professionals, all working towards the shared goal of partner success and growth of the ISV reseller channel. You will provide architecture guidance and best practices through the build, distribution, and release phases. This position requires strong technical and communications skills, excellent time management, prioritization capabilities, and an aptitude for critical thinking. Responsibilities: Become a highly certified and recognized Salesforce expert Serve as a trusted technical advisor to ISVs building commercial, enterprise-quality apps, and integrations on the Salesforce platform Run quality reviews on the LINK cartridges/integrations built by the Commerce Cloud ISV partners Participate in the recruitment of new ISV partners and guide them in bringing their solutions to market Lead architectural and design discussions with ISV partners to ensure technical success with Salesforce technologies Build and present customized demos of Salesforce products Influence next-generation platform technologies, features, and tools in partnership with internal product R&D teams Evangelize Salesforce platform technologies via interactions with our partner community, including in-person events, blogs, discussion forums, workshops, and webinars Required Skills/Experience: BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar degree Experience developing with technologies such as Javascript, node.js, Java, and Python Experience in analyzing business requirements and designing solutions Self-motivated and excellent time management skills. Ability to explain complex topics to a wide range of audiences with empathy, clarity, and brevity. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. The following certifications are required within the first 3 months of hire B2C Commerce Developer Administrator The following certifications are required within the first 6 months of hire Platform App Builder Platform Developer I The following certification is required within 1 year of hire Platform Developer II Preferred Skills/Experience: 3+ yrs experience in an Enterprise Software Development or Consulting Role Familiarity with Salesforce's Force.com platform or other Platform As A Service offerings by Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar Commerce Platform experience Experience working as a Technical Architect, Product Engineer, Consultant, or Developer in a customer-facing role. Experience presenting at technical conferences and executive briefings. Expected Travel 0-5% For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $121,800.
