On behalf of Computing At School and the Network of Excellence An introduction to the BBC Micro:Bit September 12, 2017 at 1:00PM Our Lady's RC Primary School Manchester This practical, hands on workshop will show you a variety of ways to use the BBC Micro:Bit with your pupils SPEAKER Jamie Edmondson I am the Computing Leader and specialist Computing Teacher at Our Lady's RC Primary school in Manchester, where I teach Computing from Nursery through to Year 6. I have been a Teacher for over 14 years and have previously held the position of ICT Subject Leader as well as Study Support Lead Teacher for Oldham local authority. A CAS Master Teacher, I also work independently with other schools, sharing the wealth of knowledge and experience I've gained in order to help schools improve their Computing provision and use of education technology. All materials and resources used on this course will be made available to all delegates after the course.
