In setting up my new Mac, I had to remember an improvement I haven’t thought about since 2011 (the last time I set up a new Mac): change Command-V, ⌘-V, to “Paste and Match Style.” The change greatly simplifies to work of copying and pasting.
For a long time I hesitated, because I couldn’t get past the keyboard. My tip, for anyone thinking about a MacBook: ask if you can try the machine of your choice while sitting. After I sat down to type, I needed only a minute or two to decide that I could be happy with the new keyboard.
I have long searched for a Safari extension that can create a link with a title or selected text from a webpage — something like the now-antique Firefox extensions CopyURL+ and QuoteURLText. I finally found one.
