Watching Murder, She Wrote (for the old stars), we spotted the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard. There’s a building with a distinctive rounded front on one corner. It’s a drugstore in the show, and a drugstore still (now a CVS).
For a moment tonight, I thought that maybe Joe Namath’s water heater really had exploded. Because there was George Foreman, shilling for some Medicare (Advantage? Supplement?) plan.
In honor of Only Murders in the Building, tonight is Dip Night: baba ghanoush, hummus, carrot and celery sticks, orange and yellow pepper slices, Kalamata olives, and pita.
Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. They were talking, of course, about their Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. SC: “Now there’s a lot of texting in the show. Do you guys have your own text chain between the three of you?” SG: “No, it’s strictly e-mail with these guys.”
From “How Well Do You Know Your Neighbors?,” the third episode of the new Hulu series Only Murders in the Building: “Hey, I figured out the perfect greeting for the text.”
