Some of my students were struggling to find internships, so I made this master list of studios for them to reach out to and figured I'd share it here too! It skews more towards the US + branding (my own bias) but I welcome any additions / nominations 💙 https://t.co/EBpGG89K7K— Elizabeth Goodspeed (@domesticetch) May 9, 2023

Inspired by @Wattenberger's recent GitHub demos: a rough "briefcase view" for a repository. File browsers are supposed to represent physical folders, but don't show *space* or *content*. Configs as little receipt stubs tucked in, distinct from code & communication letters📜 pic.twitter.com/a5NHYkqDRc— Max Krieger (@maxkriegers) December 4, 2021

“There’s a spicy article to be written about how much better videogames are doing at accessibility than consumer/enterprise tech. Look at Naughty Dog shipping fast follow improvements to what is already widely heralded as the most accessible AAA title of all time!”

“I have zero context how or why this lovely, delicate animation was approved by leadership. But I'm 98% certain it wasn't pitched with business impact jargon. Instead someone probably advocated hard for delight — or simply showed leadership what sheer delight feels like.”

New work: Brand identity and logo design for @eigenlayerThe identity features interchangeable wordmarks—intended to look and feel similar to each other, but are different in orientation and alignment—as well as symbol counterparts with its own codified visual system. pic.twitter.com/R5BL3f1qcA— adam ho (@omgadamho) March 16, 2023

It’s monochromatic to reflect a lithograph, vintage considering the crosshatching strokes to shade. Everyone else is right - I’d say this is vintage-poster-1940s Americana & Mid-Century style without abstract shapes. And the lettering adheres to 1930s.Aka IONO VINTAGE 🤷‍♂️— freshletters (@freshletters_) February 22, 2023

New typography structure for 2.0. Getting rid of auto-responsive styles in favor of more granular manual control of how they change at each viewport. While becoming more flexible - it also reduces the amount of style variables shipped in code ⌨️ pic.twitter.com/co43rsmWSi— Dmitry Belyaev (@blvdmitry) February 19, 2023

Big tech interviews are so much overkill compared to the job. Engineers spend weeks on leetcode only to be asked to create a button in a UI. Product managers memorize product sense frameworks only to schedule meetings and ask lawyers if it’s OK to ship a feature (it’s always no).— Dare Obasanjo (@Carnage4Life) February 16, 2023

Photography is the nicest way to start with graphic design. Instead of starting with a blank canvas and filling it with pixels, you look for pixels and hang your canvas around it. The grammar is the same. And if you’re seeing this the one tool you need is in your hands. pic.twitter.com/WAlz2u6aRL— abhinit ابھنت (@abhinitial) February 10, 2023
