Une chance que quelqu'un va leur en parler avant que leur premiere documentation soit en studio. Une partie de la collaboration interne qui est vitale! https://media.tenor.com/2utsFw5wZnUAAAAC/in-shock.gif?hh=415&ww=498
It’s done! (Not in physical form yet, but we software peeps are used to dealing with digital versions anyway right?) [contains quote post or other embedded content]
Rejoice! It finally happened! I sang “In the Shadows” after my talk at @halfstackconf.bsky.social, and I forgot how much better I sound in my head. Thank you all for putting up with me! What a joy it was to bump into @tonyedwardspz.bsky.social, who I’ve been mentioning in my slides!
So good to see your growth on my all @schier.co . Stoked to have you using it 🙂 More updates coming tomorrow! [contains quote post or other embedded content]
This week, Lambda & ECS are celebrating 10 years! 🥳 I spoke about what building serverless means in 2024 at mine and Tom Collins's Serverless Days Cardiff keynote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJU00RdNoe0
Awesome news! I used Responsive Web Design as one of my research sources for my bachelor thesis back in 2012. It’s a great book for starters and seasoned designers/developers. Thanks for sharing! [contains quote post or other embedded content]
I love that we’re in the early stages of this app where you’ll pretty much follow anyone that’s posting anything consistently and then we’ll look back in like 10 years and be like oh….i actually don’t know this person at all? We were just in the trenches together.
if you wanna be good at something you just have to do it. “but I suck at it!” so what, just do it. And do it again. And again. And again. And then maybe you’ll still suck at it but you’ll suck more confidently and tbh nobody knows wtf they’re doing except maybe NASA so
Also reminder, WCAG isn't everything. You could pass WCAG with a completely unusable website/service/app. @craigabbott.bsky.social had an excellent talk, Beyond WCAG, that covered why going beyond the accessibility regulations matter. https://www.craigabbott.co.uk/decks/beyond-accessibility-regulations/
I’m definitely not the only one, but “Responsive Web Design” was a game changer for me. An extension of the original May 25, 2010 article on the A List Apart website that marked a paradigm shift in the way we build websites. It’s remarkable. [contains quote post or other embedded content]
