A great blog post with practical tips about how to prototype a language toggle by Al Robinson https://designnotes.blog.gov.uk/2024/11/14/how-can-we-test-our-designs-with-welsh-speaking-users/
Good evening Bluesky 🦋 I've just deployed some updates to blueview.app. A new stats section and more fine grained controls on follower charts. I've also updated the starter packs so the search should be faster now. Thanks for giving it a go! 🙂 More features in the works! Sleep now 😴
I got to collaborate with @johnnyjjones.bsky.social and friends again and as usual they exceeded all expectations [contains quote post or other embedded content]
a major problem with bluesky is that i can offhandedly remark "i hate drawing, its too hard" and then a sweet old lady will gently encourage me and kindly point me to some useful resources to get started drawing and i dont know what to do with myself
Huge influx of UX design people on here, which is awesome. I have a starter pack for active accounts if you want to follow them! go.bsky.app/2NKjZdu (let me know if you want to be added) [contains quote post or other embedded content]
My app for finding 🦋 accounts you may want to follow has had a make-over: it now displays names and bios, and allows adding an "app password" for direct follow buttons in the listing bsky-follow-finder.theo.io https://bsky-follow-finder.theo.io/
In today's Learn Deno tutorial, learn how to containerize your Deno app with Docker so you can deploy it anywhere: 👇️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRryNeYm6yw
Now with so many folks streaming into BlueSky, the real question is "are there many #UX folk here?" I've been poking around, searching and not really noticing much. Am I wrong? Is there more UX around here than first appears?
I miss MySpace. I miss Tom and learning HTML to fancy up my account and how I could control how everything looked and add music and everyone's profile was unique.
I’ll probably ask this again when I have more followers, but: What are the most ‘graphic designery’ games out there? Bold, simple, accessible. Monument Valley is an example, but it was made by a design studio after all.
