Alright #Devsky, show us your most unusual programming book! Here’s mine: “Let’s Talk LISP” by Laurent Siklóssy, published 1976. What’s fun about it is how relevant a lot of it still is, though of course it’s not enough to learn any modern Lisp dialect.

Tää on tärkeä näkökulma.

Many good arguments in favor of rapidly blocking toxic and hateful accounts have already been put forward. At least one argument I haven’t seen yet but believe is important remains: Trolls sap our faith in #humanity and #democracy. Humans aren’t as hateful or irredeemable as it seems in Twitter.

Are you just dying to read a good old-fashioned t-file in this the year 2024? My play Rozencrantz and Guildenstern go to IKEA is an absurdist one-act available in the cDc’s archives! cultdeadcow.com/cDc_files/cD...

It’s my first cabinet build, but i built my fireplace too! Cabinets are definitely way harder than a fireplace because everything has to be perfectly square or else a drawer won’t open or something hahah

like I fundamentally don't believe that social media should feel like the Clockwork Orange eyes scene half the time, I don't think that helps anyone and worry that it drives people insane, so sure yeah I'll actively prefer a platform that doesn't do that, it's not a passive choice but an active one

Professionally you never get to code front end, back end and design a UI, but on your own projects you can, and I do it like Life and How To Live It. Do some backend, until I get tired of it, then do some design. Blissful.

I though we wouldn't be able to make a lira that looked as good as the model. I have almost no experience with woodworking. It took us around thirty hours to get the frame done. Everyone managed at the end. I'm happy we were pushed into doing them. No way I start these kind of projects by myself.
