TFW you build a site with @getkirby.com and web platform standards (== semantic HTML, modern CSS, a little bit of JavaScript, and a dash of ARIA) and you look at Lighthouse for the first time … Looks like industry best practices actually work. (Sorry for using my platform to ruin anyone’s day. 🥰) 🍋

TIL Charles Darwin only worked about 4 hours a day. He worked for two 90-minute periods each morning & then one 60-minute period later in the day. Before the latter he would take an hour nap & go on 2 walks. On this schedule he wrote 19 books including The Descent of Man & On the Origin of Species.

As a fully grown adult, you can just go to the store and buy a loaf of sourdough to eat plain. You can go buy that sourdough and then go home and eat it straight up out of the bag. No one is stopping you. You make your own money
