I forgot to introduce myself and there's no edit button. I'm a hobbyist web developer currently working as an Instructional Designer in Atlantic Canada. I like HTML and CSS, but mostly hate JavaScript unless it works 😅

I’m here, but sharing starter packs is the way. It means one person can do the legwork of grabbing up to 150 people and then share it. As well as that, custom feeds. I think someone was creating an index.

Hi, currently working through the Odin Project full stack javascript course to transition from janitorial work to web dev. I don't post much but like to chat about coding, pro wrestling and comics / manga.

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something

IF YOU WERE PART OF TECH TWITTER IN ANY WAY, can you comment here so we can find everyone we knew in the community. I feel like I am going crazy trying to search for accounts and it is exhausting. Can we get a thread going on of everyone? Let's bring the community back together over here.

I was mostly a lurker over there but looking to be more active here. I'm sure I'm not alone in that feeling. 😆

2025 is the year I start going down to London for theatre. Wanted to go see Sigourney Weaver in the Tempest and just found out T Hiddy will be in Much Ado About Nothing.

Professionally you never get to code front end, back end and design a UI, but on your own projects you can, and I do it like Life and How To Live It. Do some backend, until I get tired of it, then do some design. Blissful.

like I fundamentally don't believe that social media should feel like the Clockwork Orange eyes scene half the time, I don't think that helps anyone and worry that it drives people insane, so sure yeah I'll actively prefer a platform that doesn't do that, it's not a passive choice but an active one

Hello everyone, I'm new here 👋 A brief intro - I'm an illustrator based in Norfolk UK working in advertising, publishing & design. Influenced by art deco & mid century poster art I like to recreate that retro vibe in my own contemporary style. I sell prints too! Find out more - juliaallum.co.uk

I say this every year and I always mean it: this edition of @perfnow.bsky.social was all I could hope for. Wonderful speakers and attendees in a beautiful venue, all deeply caring about how to make the web better for everyone. It fills me with hope. Maybe the “perf” in #perfnow stands for “perfect”?

Still believe there’s a content market for fun and interesting things you find when you read a product’s docs start to finish.

I though we wouldn't be able to make a lira that looked as good as the model. I have almost no experience with woodworking. It took us around thirty hours to get the frame done. Everyone managed at the end. I'm happy we were pushed into doing them. No way I start these kind of projects by myself.

Unfortunately all of my cooking photos will be poorly lit in this kitchen but I'm making chili to celebrate our new oven being delivered (after three months or so without one). Prepping!
