Not a tiny carry on but here’s mine! It was all I brought for a 2 week solo Japan trip earlier this year, there was room still left to buy souvenirs/clothes 🫣 Packed another pair of shoes, 3 light shirts, 2nd skirt, 1 pant, 1 warmer jacket, other toiletries & personal items. Plus p950 camera!

We’ve just released the Pinwheel Figma plugin for exporting colour variables as Design Tokens JSON. We think it might be the first plugin to do this with full support of sRGB and Display P3. Also, it’s free. We hope you like it!

Thank youuuuuuuu! We’re planning on expanding to cover all variable types, and maybe add importing. Hoping to make it the best JSON I/O plugin.

Just finished editing the last one 🥳 Doing that many videos back to back is definitely a bit of a slog, but I wanted to have this done by this week, and I'm sort of impressed by myself actually meeting that deadline, lol

hey! soooo, i left figma last month after 5.5 years. it’s so corny to feel this way about a job, but i *loved* this job. in many ways, i grew up there. i checked off a ton of career dreams, and i grew as a person in ways i never expected. i am eternally grateful 💞

We're starting to write a blog about a great thing my team are working on. An accessibility annotations library for Figma for the GOVUK design system. We'll be open-sourcing it, so let me know if you'd like to try it before we put it out into the wild. It's a brilliant piece of work!

Went to get KBBQ, and our waitress seemed very excited when we asked for a second serving of Kimchi. Later as we were leaving, she handed us a whole tub of Kimchi to take home and said "happy holidays!!" 🥹 It's the little things

The way I work on flawless.dev is that I do a cool thing, then a boring thing, and then again a cool thing. Can't show all the cool stuff at once, but there is much more coming. Like hot replacing running code. 🔥

Treating myself in my last week of work before I'm off until next year by enabling as many eslint rules and TypeScript config flags as I can.

We’re consolidating our design system Figma libraries into one master library at Grammarly. I’m considering documenting the process here and then translating it into a blog post. Would anyone be interested in following along?

That’s my number one argument when clients want huge videos etc. „Have you been on the train lately…?“

Oooo this is pretty cool. my @graze.social feed caught this as a post for the web dev feed. The interesting part is RSC is defined in a filter that matches that word and text similarly compared to some react tweets. The posts itself doesn't contain any mention of react though!

Released an improved version that uses the built-in browser dialog.showModal() method - it's just 4.47KB now, 1.1KB minified and gzipped https://github.com/simonw/prompts-js/releases/tag/0.0.3

Late to bed waiting for teen to return from party on stormy night. Early to rise as wind blows door open so one cat can come upstairs and scratch/miaow about breakfast
