The vanilla js question was relatively simple and very similar to a codewars challenge I had just completed. It just wanted me to return the sum of the 4 largest numbers in an unsorted array. I sorted the array from smallest to largest and reduced the last 4 elements. Simple.
How have I only now heard of @splinetool?! π Looks like a great tool on the way for 3D work π Being built by @alelepd πͺ Go check it out. They're hiring too! π https://t.co/rxyRgCAlYw
as we approach the βnobody cares about your spotify wrappedβ time of year, i would like you all to know that i care. post your wrapped. i will look at all of it and ponder it and cherish it
Ok, I'm seriously so excited by #TypeScript 4.1! (released today!) I mean come on: you can now e.g. type all 80 color variations from @TailwindCSS in like.. no time: https://t.co/QmKVbjsn86
@caveofbeauty I was JUST thinking about this. I came down with a cold recently and started to isolate, thinking 'I'm being careful right now, but if this weren't covid times I'd feel well enough to go into work' then it hit me how wrong that was.
Made a thing for you! ππ Want those fancy CSS/SVG page section waves for your site? π Here's a little playground to experiment with the effect π You can also copy the CSS to the clipboard π π https://t.co/ZPFQaI4zCX via @CodePen https://t.co/6iEJbta939
I want to say how grateful I am to everyone working on the HBO/BBC His Dark Materials. It's a joy to see such a wonderful cast (Dafne and Amir of course, but also Terence Stamp, Simone Kirby, and so many others - I wish there was space to list them all).
iβm on a machine 10 hr/day, often working while being drained & filled through a catheter (painful). i have 18ft of tether, enough to reach a bathroom. i still lead my team as founder/ceo & go above and beyond for my students every day. pain is inevitable. suffering is a choice. https://t.co/W7RmRztF09
@AdrianCJax I refuse to do interviws with coding questions that have strict time limits. It's hard enough for an able bodied person but I'm disabled. I'm skilled at what I do and wouldn't what to work somewhere that thinks that timed interview coding questions are good.
did a side project for the sole purpose of beating Lighthouse π - no JS - no CSS - no content - loads under 16 ms - 371 Bytes https://t.co/Xbnpb2Kemd https://t.co/GRunFSxZcy
About a year ago, (mainly) @RyanTownsend and I built https://t.co/PEOPEY0o8G, an app for generating purposely slow-loading CSS and JS files. Perfect for demonstrating and observing the effects of critical delays. We never really mentioned it since, so here it is! Enjoy. https://t.co/SiR0LjlT6s
Really tho, just stop policing sick days. It's barbaric and leads to snotty, drippy, icky people on subways, busses and in offices. Also the last thing anyone wants to think about while sick is how many sick days they have left.

There is a great way to start doing HTML, CSS, JS right on your phone, tablet, via WiFi or the Internet. This was fun! { author: @adrian_twarog } #DEVCommunity https://t.co/TQWZFWZVv1
ah, apparently 'JavaScript' is actually cool person code for 'front-end' and definitely not a thing back-end people do this is a truly bizarre and biased measure. It's 10 lines of code to set up a server with Node.js but that's 'harder' than setting up an 'all-in-one' CMS https://t.co/uaDtzBAx33
It just amazes me how @kentcdodds promises that it will click when you do the exercises from his EpicReact course and then all of a sudden it clicks and everything makes so much sense π€―
