I'd bet that most of ya have your code editors set up to format your code on save (Prettier 'n' friends). I sure do, it's a modern editor feature that I just adore. We have that on CodePen now (you can flip it on globally if you like and control at the per-Pen level.) https://t.co/1iJcLlsWzS

I'm a 10x engineer so whenever I half-ass something I'm still five-assing it.

Illustrator is bugging out but it's really cool and now I'm afraid of closing it because I don't want it to end https://t.co/GZ6j8l7Cqs

@_developit Gonna need a way to do the same in Lighthouse for my legacy JavaScript audit. First pass doesn't have any sort of size savings estimation

@GaReth_Rutter @mikedotsullivan constructive is pointing out details that could easily be changed. I learnt by people pointing these things out to me. I’d love to discuss, but all I get is ad hominem insults. Why blow this up into a generational conflict? I’m old, yes. So what?

@ddcuevat Yeah, sure. But I think that not everything needs to be dark or epic or serious all the time. That becomes very monotone and people will get bored of it.

In case you missed it: The Law Commission finally released its report on marriage yesterday. Here's why the UK Government should give legal recognition to humanist marriages in England & Wales immediately, in a nutshell πŸ‘‡ https://t.co/a3GPXVZ7BT

Excited to announce that https://t.co/WB8LO2UJsY now supports @tailwindcss πŸ₯³ Spin up a complete SaaS app in minutes with auth, subscription payments, and a minimal Tailwind template. Everything just works. https://t.co/pv3aYeSDrG

@kentcdodds Another way to think about it: in order to get support for Codespaces, vscode had to decouple addons from literally believing that they run on the local file system. On top of codespaces, the payoff is liveshare, WSL, and ssh. And WSL is critical for local dev in the mountains.

@davatron5000 This is great. I love reading a piece that’s like β€œwouldn’t it be great if, in css, you could…” and then I’m like β€œoh boy, how are they gonna…” and then I read the selector and 🀯 That’s how I felt when I saw items:has(.item:last-of-type:nth-of-type(odd)) .item:first-of-type

If https://t.co/PDfWGgzi8d can become sustainable I think it has a better chance at adoption than Deno thanks to its interoperability with Node.js. Definitely keeping my eye on it. I hope it is successful!

@jones_spencera I don't necessarily disagree that someone having side projects is a positive signal, but it's important to distinguish between that and *expecting* people to have side projects. Not everyone has the luxury of the time and energy to work on things on top of their day job

The Equality Act of 2010 is the culmination and consolidation of over six decades of progress in the elimination of discrimination on all these grounds and more in employment, education, and services. That work is still unfinished and needs expanding, not overturning. Dark days.

It’s not a backlash. When someone grumbles about Sandman being woke and they get 10 likes, and I point out they’re being idiots & get 60,000 likes there isn’t a backlash going on. There’s a few people grumbling performatively on Twitter, & thousands of people waiting for Friday. https://t.co/Y8VEBZEppR

I always find it weird when people claim that @tailwindcss is difficult to maintain. Maintainability is one of the main benefits in my opinion. I can immediately be productive on every project that uses Tailwind without having to understand its bespoke CSS conventions 😍

#Flutter animation tipπŸͺ„ Bring any boring scroll view in your UI to life (ListView, GridView, ..etc) by wrapping its children with an animated widget and let the itemBuilder do its magic πŸͺ„πŸ§ͺ (it will run your animation when each item scrolls into view 🀫) Code πŸ‘‡πŸΌ https://t.co/2hlpi36rub
