Many good arguments in favor of rapidly blocking toxic and hateful accounts have already been put forward. At least one argument I haven’t seen yet but believe is important remains: Trolls sap our faith in #humanity and #democracy. Humans aren’t as hateful or irredeemable as it seems in Twitter.

Tää on tärkeä näkökulma.

Hello new followers. Lovely to see you all here. You can mostly expect pet pics and silliness with the odd smattering of content-based waffling. If you want all the work stuff, head to: @contentdesign.london To make my point, here’s a picture of my cat with a cobweb on his face. Silly sausage.

It’s out. My full interview. Growing up poor with non- working parents. Wandering the streets of London on my own at 7. Struggling to fit in at school or anywhere else. Deciding to end my life… then not. Turning my life around at 32. It’s a lot. Even for me. And I lived it!

That list is my and @contentdesign.london’s Finest Work of All Time, and I will have you know that (a) absolutely nobody takes any notice of it at all, at least not when it comes to policy-related content, and (b) if only they did, then all the main problems would be instantly solved.

Because I did something wrong in a previous life, I'm spending my Saturday afternoon reading the Industrial Strategy and, guys, can we just agree to have a moriatorium on "unleashed" and "unleashing" when talking about "the potential" of innovation? DOGS ARE ON LEADS, INNOVATION IS NOT

Cursor, ESLint, TypeScript, and Prettier need to just get a room already and produce us an actually useful coding tool.

For whatever reason I can’t fully explain, this app is like a bunch of people hanging out, and Threads is like a computational simulation of people hanging out. Totally different moods.

I forgot to introduce myself and there's no edit button. I'm a hobbyist web developer currently working as an Instructional Designer in Atlantic Canada. I like HTML and CSS, but mostly hate JavaScript unless it works 😅

I’m here, but sharing starter packs is the way. It means one person can do the legwork of grabbing up to 150 people and then share it. As well as that, custom feeds. I think someone was creating an index.

Hi, currently working through the Odin Project full stack javascript course to transition from janitorial work to web dev. I don't post much but like to chat about coding, pro wrestling and comics / manga.

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something

IF YOU WERE PART OF TECH TWITTER IN ANY WAY, can you comment here so we can find everyone we knew in the community. I feel like I am going crazy trying to search for accounts and it is exhausting. Can we get a thread going on of everyone? Let's bring the community back together over here.
