My cold-infested brain still managed to enjoy 2.5hrs of marketing course video today. Shows how really good it is! Not looking forward to typing up the notes though: there were a lot and apparently my handwriting deteriorates when fuzzy-headed.

I missed the deadline, but until I hear this, I'll do more than my best to make it happen. Perfectionism hurts, but the quote deservers only high quality courses. Thanks Daniel, I'll close BSky now and 👨💻👨💻👨💻 [contains quote post or other embedded content]

Got a perfect score on my sleep tracker last night, I am going to be irredeemably annoying all day today. Good luck to everyone in the blast radius of my enthusiasm.

Not posting this over there but cookie banners are NOT the issue. Sorry to my friends in 🇺🇸, if that's your opinion, it's an L take. Making "Reject all" difficult to trick users into clicking "Accept all" is the problem. That and sharing data with 850+ "partners" to "improve services"...

After a couple of years of pretty much flawless usage, my Sony WH-1000XM4 noise cancelling bluetooth headphones have developed a sudden habit of producing screeching feedback out of one of the ears when you turn them on. Something going awry with the noise cancellation feature I guess.

For the new react native storybook ui I pretty much copy pasted the entire mobile ui over and changed divs to views. Thats part of what makes react native powerful, you can just reuse the stuff thats been built out for the web. Maybe with `use dom` it can go further.

I biked 40 miles around the Bay Area through North Bay and East Bay 🏞️🚴🏻♀️ Started in SF, crossed the Golden Gate, rode through Marin County (Sausalito, Mill Valley, Larkspur San Rafael), then over the Richmond–San Rafael Bridge to the East Bay (Richmond, Berkeley, Oakland)

Most things seem to work by adding /rss to the end? I imagine this one would be more challenging because it needs you to be authenticated.

A little update on Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. The most recent patch has fixed the crazing issues the game was having and overall the game feels better to play. Makes me a lot more positive about playing it going forward.

the best thing you can do when you realize you screwed up is own up to it and ask how you can help fix it. The longer you wait, the worse it's going to get. [contains quote post or other embedded content]

🎉 After six incredible years at Framer, it’s time for my next step. Today, we’re spinning Framer Motion out as its own independent open-source project, to better serve the whole community. Introducing Motion. For React, and now, for everyone.

Really liking the breakdown by @abangser.bsky.social and Jorge Lainfiesta of “operability” into maintainability (past), usability (present), and extensibility (future). This is a great lens to look at platform work through. #PlatEngDay
