Have been thinking about creating some sort of mini VST plugin for Figma to create your own UI sounds/riffs, and link them to your prototype.
Not sure if it would even work tho 🤔

We should ship "latency numbers every web engineer should know".
There are fascinating numbers to be known out there. e.g.: the time between hover and click can be 100s of ms where you can be doing anticipatory work.

What I dislike about AI-powered coding assistance is that I have to very carefully review the new code to be sure that it does the right thing. And I, personally, find code review difficult relative to writing new code (to an equivalent standard of quality)

@kdrag0n stupid question from someone who knows very little about all of this: why are there no MD5 sumchecks for tarballs in place to make sure they actually align with the committed source code?

it’s wild how quickly you go from “what would i make a video about” to “how do i keep up with this explosion of ideas and conversations?”

@kentcdodds I've had tabs disabled for a while now and prefer it
I do have "open editors" enabled in the sidebar though
It's like tabs, but doesn't take up as much screen real estate
Plus, a vertical list is easier to scan than a horizontal one

The cat’s out of the container: I’ll be starting my new job as Principal Security Architect at @Docker on April 2!
I’m very excited to get to help secure container infrastructure for, well, just about everyone.
See y’all soon! 🐳📦
