Gutenberg kein Editor, sondern ein Projekt, das aus 4 Phasen besteht:
Phase 1: Easier Editing Erstellung und Bearbeitung von Inhalten auf Seiten und Beiträgen. Ergebnis: Block-Editor für Inhalte
Phase 2: Customization Anpassung der gesamten Website ohne Codeberührung. Ergebnis: Block-Themes und Website-Editor
Phase 3: Collaboration Inhalte der Website verwalten und online zusammenarbeiten.
Phase 4: Multilingual Mehrsprachige Websites ohne zusätzliche Plugins.
Anfang 2024 stehen wir am Übergang von Phase 2 zu Phase 3.
Laut der WordPress Long Term Roadmap besteht das Projekt Gutenberg aus 4 Phasen:
Easier Editing: Erstellung und Bearbeitung von Inhalten auf Seiten und Beiträgen.
Customization: Anpassung der gesamten Website ohne Codeberührung.
Collaboration: Inhalte der Website verwalten und online zusammenarbeiten.
Multilingual: Mehrsprachige Websites ohne zusätzliche Plugins. Kann noch dauern.
Phase 1 und 2 haben bereits konkrete Ergebnisse, Phase 3 geht gerade erst los. Phase 4 ist Zukunftsmusik

(… and FSE, an acronym for Full Site Editing that we honestly think will not go away anymore.) These are words that are buzzing in the WordPress community.
As a software company, we went all-in! We adopted working with this all the way. And we love it.
Anne-Mieke Bovelett interviewed our CTO Jakob Trost, asking questions about the process of getting started in developing for and with the latest and greatest feature WordPress currently has to offer.
We think this interview gives great insight in why staying as close to core as possible has advantages for all. Of course, this is a road with some hurdles.
But here we mainly wanted to share with you how we rolled into developing with and for the latest features in WordPress.

That refers to the Gutenberg plugin. Completely separate from the block editor. Don't mix it all up. Be precise.

Gutenberg, developed by the same folks behind WordPress is a text-based block editor for a WordPress website. It’s very powerful and easy to use. You can design a beautiful content layout with this page builder. It was first introduced by Matt Mullenweg in 2017 at WordCamp Europe.
It’s a great tool for creating a clean and organized website. Gutenberg is an open-source project and it works as a block editor. With this tool, you need to add different blocks for different elements such as headings, paragraphs, quotes, lists, images, galleries, buttons, etc. These blocks contain their own layouts that are customizable and can be saved for later reusable purposes.
These features make working with Gutenberg more fun than work. It’s similar to building a LEGO set. Just put together the blocks in a specific order and create your webpage! You can even use different third-party Gutenberg blocks for more customization options.
