The pokémon were confused, they were fighting among themselves without even understanding why they were doing it. The Koren region was protected by a confused Regigigas, while the Kaioh region was protected by Giratina. These were in a battle that seemed never to end and would lead to the imminent destruction of the regions. To stop the battle, many of the world’s most potent pokémons approached the region but could do little to help. Suddenly, Arceus, who is said to have been born before the creation of the universe, appeared and with his immense power separated the two opponents, hiding them in the different areas of the sister regions, restoring peace to them. Already tired, to ensure that peace was maintained Arceus sent Mew to protect the region, and he went to sleep for the rest of eternity. Part 2: Around the year 1512, Captain Blue was lost sailing the peaceful southern seas. After two months, when everything seemed lost, he discovered the legendary sister regions. Necro, Captain Blue’s travel companion, managed to decipher the symbols found in a cave, discovering many things about that epic battle of the past, he became very ambitious and founded Team Shadow in order to catch the legendary pokémons that they fought in that battle to take over the world. Pokemon Unown https://pokemonromworld.com/pokemon-unown/ This is an increased difficulty and overhaul hack of Pokemon Fire Red that focuses on creating a more natural and immersive randomized experience. Battles and encounters are always “unknown”, which attempts to bring the unpredictability of competitive battling into the Kanto story. All wild encounters, trainer battles, and gift pokemon are thematically randomized on the fly. This means that the Pokemon power level and types are derived from the vanilla engine. Unlike most other randomizers, you cannot encounter fully evolved or legendary Pokemon in route 1. Naturally, you cannot fish/surf a fire type. As a result, the hack is very replayable, much more challenging than vanilla, and has a bit less entropy than most other randomizers have. Game Modes We have implemented a handful of game modes and togglable settings. This is done to enable however you want to play. All settings can be changed anytime in the upstairs of a Pokecenter through yes/no questionnaires, so there’s no need to worry about permanence. Author commentary: I personally play casual sadlocke with set mode and all options enabled. I disable sadlocke when I play in the default difficulty because it’s too tough. Then my goal is to simply beat the game with light restrictions and a ragtag of Pokemon. Trainer AI Difficulty Default: Pokemon from trainers are very challenging. They are thematically randomized on the spot, i.e expect entropy between battles! Casual: Pokemon from trainers are not as powerful. They have near 0 IVs/EVs and neutral nature. This is still much harder than a vanilla game. Toggle Options Itemless: Player cannot use their item bag in battle. Level Caps: Player cannot level past the gym’s max level. Restricted Encounters: Only the first encounter per wild zone can be caught. This is not 100% faithful to nuzlocke encounter rules. It only restricts non-scripted wild encounters, which doesn’t include gifts. Shiny and duplicate clauses are implemented. Sadlocke: Pokemon will not obey you probabilistically if neutral happiness. Whenever a Pokemon faints there is a massive penalty to their happiness. Walking for friendship is disabled. Raters are in every PC. Pairs well with restricted encounters!
