Muscle pain, cramping, and stiffness without other serotonin‐related symptoms have not been reported for non‐amphetamine stimulant medications used in the treatment of ADHD, including the methylphenidate class of medications.
Other non‐amphetamine stimulant medications (such as the methylphenidates), however, have not previously been implicated in causing significant muscle pain and stiffness without other serotonin‐related symptoms.
