Animate a Character in 15 Minutes in Blender - YouTube
Learn how to model, rig and animate a walking character in 15 minutes! We'll create a quadruped that can walk in any direction, using a combination of curves, constraints and armature. Then we'll tie it all together with random movement, giving it life and personality!

In this one, I tried to cover a lot of the interface and (more importantly) a few situations that can be very confusing. In the past, I almost gave up on the NLA because of these issues.
But once you understand a few key features and settings, everything starts to make perfect sense.
This video isn't "sexy" meaning that we'll mostly be going through the interface and settings. But I highly recommend it if you're new to the NLA.
In the next lesson, we'll create an animation using separate actions. And it's all based on the basic concepts that you can learn in this session.

Giving Personality to Procedural Animations using Math - YouTube
It's been a while since the last video hasn't it? I've made quite a bit of progress since the last update, and since one of the things I worked on was some procedurally animated characters, I decided to make a video about the subject. In particular, this video highlights the entire process from initial motivation, to the technical design, technical analysis, and game design considerations.
