There are a lot of things I love about Guardian, and Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan, but at the top of the list has to be their incredible chemistry and their body language with each other. From the way they look at each other and flirt, to the way their bodies are simply attuned to each other's movements. So, I've decided to do a re-watch of the show, focusing on my favorite bits of Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan interactions. A lot of the expressions and reactions in the earlier episodes take on a lot more meaning in hindsight!

So this post is mostly for my own resources but please please please feel free to hit me up with any others in comments.

Hey folks! [personal profile] naye made an awesome Guardian mood theme! I'm guessing most of you know what a mood theme is, but in case you don't, you can choose a "mood" when you make a post, and if you have a mood theme installed, it will attach a little image to the post. You can create your own mood theme and upload the images one by one, but it's pretty tedious. Fortunately, I found an awesome post that let me make a script for uploading the Guardian theme to my journal. After I made the script, I thought I could save everyone else some time if I shared it with you folks! After all, it's already made, so why not?

Today, by which I mean "yesterday" because typing this took forever, I decided to spend my day doing something I'd been putting off for months–figuring out what the hell is going on with Zhao Yunlan's apartment (and also Shen Wei's, because their layout is actually the same). So this is what I came up with:

This has been a request from a little while ago by @yue_ix. Full disclosure, I watched Guardian exactly once, over 2 years ago, so plz forgive me if I'm fuzzy on details or describe things shittily. I didn't include... all the secondary characs I have no recollection of, so don't hesitate to poke me if you have requests.

Based on Baidu's cast list and my trawl through the episodes. I'll add to this as I rewatch with an eye out for names. Items in [square brackets] are the pronunciations given in the International Phonetic Alphabet, provided for the more important/prominent cast members.
