今日はマンガの中でよく出てくるエフェクト(効果)についてです。その中でも代表的な、SFものやバトル物には欠かせない「爆発表現」について書きたいと思います。 マンガ自体にもよりますが、普段のキャラや何でもないコマではそこまでリアルじゃなくても、爆発のシーンひとつだけでもリアルに描くことで、作品に厚みというか、読みごたえが出てきます。 形を作るのにはセンスも必要ですが、まずは本物の写真を見て特徴をとらえ、ご自身の作品に応用していってもらいたいです。 スポンサーリンク ご存知のように「爆発」とは中心にあるエネルギーの塊が急激な化学反応により一気に外側に開放される現象。炎を含んだ爆発の場合、中心部分は非常に明るく外に行くにしたがって暗くなります。いくつもの球状の塊が外へ向かって大きく広がっていくようなイメージで、あとは煙、塵、モノが破壊されたらその破片などをちりばめることで爆発の規模やリアリティを表現します。 まず鉛筆で一個一個の塊のアタリを描きます。頭の中でどういう勢いや流れで炎が出ているかを設定します。 その塊の上部分　つまり暗くなる部分を輪郭を取ります。直接ベタで塗り始めてもいいです。 「炎」か「煙」なので当然モコモコとした形があるようなないような、不規則なものになります。 全体の形を整えます。真ん中の方が明るく、外の塊の方がベタの多い暗い塊になります。 細かい部分に調子を付けます。(小さな塊、飛び散る破片などを描いていく) ホワイトで爆発の勢いを表現するのも一つの手です。 さらに黒い部分にもホワイトを入れることで「立体感」が出ます。 最後にグラトーンを貼り、中心部を削って完成です。もっと立体感を付けたい時はトーンの重ね貼りをやったりします。 スポンサーリンク 次は「特撮モノ」などによく出てくる煙だけの迫力ある爆発の描き方です。 カッコよく描ければ画面に迫力が出ますね。 まず爆発の大まかな輪郭をアタリで描きます。 そのあとモコモコの部分を足します。自分で増やすなり削るなりして思い通りの爆発の形に近づけます。
