Wanted to delve more into sword slashes and decided on the theme of "Ink". I had a lot of fun making this effect and putting my own creative spin on it! Any feedback is welcome and appreciated :) (Character and Environment Props are property of Epic Games).

A quick stylized slash I made to test a texture I had in mind. I used shader graph for the shader, and vfx graph for the VFX.

Here is my work on the FX for Hector in our very first group projet in this fourth year at New3dge ! It was a great challenge and I'm really happy about the result In-Game. Just hope to make some better and more powerfull FX !
