Project LAX (Unreleased) - VFX Design, Benjamin ADAM
Here is some VFX work I did with Fireball Studio on the unfortunately cancelled Project LAX from Phoenix Labs
This was a cool project I loved to work on !
Several years ago, I had the opportunity to contribute to VFX explorations for project LAX. Unfortunately, it was cancelled. I'm sharing some FX research on the character Andromeda, who has the power to use light prisms to create anything she imagines.
Here are some concept paintings/sketches I did for Cosmic Void in 10.1 along with how the actual assets turned out. It was fun trying to figure out what a new iteration of Void would look like and give it a character. Hope yall enjoy. : )
School assignment (Artside Game Art School). It was my first time doing concept for fx and I Loved it
Special thanks to Leandre Teko https://www.artstation.com/djasko for this week and for the feedbacks
I do not own the chara design, it's Leandre's.
As for the map, I was inspired by League.
Here's the first part of VFX work done during a school course at Artside under the supervision of Jeremy Vitry ! It was my first time doing VFX and I was really happy experiencing with it. Thanks a lot to Jeremy for his invaluable feedbacks !

Artstation Challenge Medieval - VFX Art - "Divine Roar", Benjamin ADAM
Hello everyone ! Here is the first part of my submission for the Artstation challenge "Medieval, Back & Forth" in the VFX category !
This is a fire spell with a kind of divine aura which scares ennemies around and summons a second character.
My first Unreal engine real time effect. A big thanks to the VFX Apprentice community and teachers for the feedback and some of the resources used in this effect. I am not switching completely from illustration, but my dream has always been to work in some games. I hope my drawing and this new passion can get us there!
