Okay I just finished the final episode and need my emotional support welcome package now. (Will read the novel also!) HIS LOVE! LIT UP! THE WHOLE SKY! 😫

I have now watched 20 Guardian episodes in six days, and folks... it's a Lot.

I find myself increasingly unable to deal with Zhu Yilong's face. Just, emotionally unequipped. Barely hanging on. And there's 26 episodes to go! 😩

Is it weird that Zhao Yunlan just *looking* at Shen Wei, unwavering, with his head resting against his hand, not betraying a single emotion but clearly experiencing a lot of them IS MAKING ME WANT TO GRAB SOMEONE AND YELL AT THEM ABOUT TRUE LOVE???? I mean. Ist it?

The thing about learning everything about a show by fannish osmosis is that I was *not* prepared for the weird low budget Buffy vibes, but I'm already having a million feelings about the way Shen Wei just looked at lollipop dude, OHHH NOOOOO
