In 全糖可乐 news, MBQ is on winter break from BFA and ZKL had his last brand event on Jan 10, so I assume they haven't left their marital bed since... Jan 11. Their socials have been fed with presumably prerecorded content on an almost daily basis, and today ZKL's studio added to the fun. Skilled hands!

Every single moment I've seen of ZKL and MBQ together has seemed incredibly private, as in something I should NOT be witnessing, but I do have to admit I watched ZKL in utter shambles about that tiny ~gege~ from MBQ a hundred times already and I WILL watch it another hundred times. #thewayhome

I've been going through ZKL's and his studio's Weibos (for very normal and hinged reasons) and oh gosh, he loved #TheWayHome so much. The Studio made 25 posts about it during filming (incl. reblogs of ZKL's posts), and ZKL constantly posted pics and reblogged official promo things as it was airing.

I may have stopped posting about #TheWayHome and 全糖可乐 quite so much, but for the record. Mentally I'm still here.

I just want you to know that ZKL and MBQ just did a brand livestream together in which they all but confirmed--through a series of cutesy games, messages from and to fans, and a couple of "skits" in which they, without prompting, ended up softly gege-ing each other--that they're in a relationship.

Feeling emotional about the #TheWayHome babies in this Chili's tonight. 🥹 Gosh, look at them. I love this stupid little show.

If you're wondering how things are going over in #TheWayHome RPF land: ZKL and MBQ have signed on as brand spokespeople for a skincare company, you know, TOGETHER, and MBQ's XHS post about it (from about an hour ago) is currently closing in on 80,000 comments. I'm sure this will end well. 🫣

Not that there's an audience for this, but I think I'm gonna compile a list of all* the scenes that were cut from #TheWayHome, and try and slot them into the available canon. (* that I'm aware of, which is probably only a fraction of the missing material) Anyway, off to a great start.

I am, by the way, still trying to get people to watch #TheWayHome. At this point the RPF fandom has far outpaced the incest ship in terms of popularity and, you know, sheer unbridled madness, but I'm not giving up! It's an 8 hour commitment, just watch it.

I thought that this would be a silly little high school drama, and one aspect of it would be the bromance? But no, it seems to be 100% about this baby boy being unhealthily obsessed with his cousin who was cast out of the family years ago?
