EM-DAT - The international disaster database
EM-DAT is a global database with information on over 26,000 mass disasters from 1900 to present day. It's compiled from various sources, including UN agencies, NGOs, and press agencies. The data is open access for non-commercial use and distributed by the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED).
Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center
The Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC) had the primary responsibility for providing the US government and research community with global warming data and analysis as it pertains to energy issues. The CDIAC archive data holdings have been transferred predominantly to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Environmental System Science Data Infrastructure for a Virtual Ecosystem (ESS-DIVE) archive.

Climate mainstreaming the CAP in the EU budget: fact or fiction – CAP Reform
Climate mainstreaming of the EU budget was introduced in the Commission’s Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) proposal for the period 2014-2020 which first put forward the idea that “the optimal achievement of objectives in some policy areas - including climate action, environment, consumer policy, health and fundamental rights - depends on the mainstreaming of priorities into

Greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture - ProTerra Foundation
Introduction Greenhouse gases (GHG) are important elements in our ecosystem. They “trap” the sun´s heat in the Earth’s atmosphere, heat that would otherwise escape into space, and radiate it back towards the Earth’s surface: a phenomenon known as the ‘greenhouse effect’. One of the more known GHGs is CO2 (carbon dioxide), but several other gases […]
Slight upturn in 2022 ETS emissions due to energy crisis and rebound in aviation – but declining trend maintained
Even against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the ensuing gas price spikes, greenhouse gas emissions covered by the EU’s Emission Trading System (ETS) only rose very slightly last year.

Valuing the functionality of tropical ecosystems beyond carbon
Land-based carbon sequestration projects, such as tree planting, are a prominent strategy
to offset carbon emissions. However, we risk reducing natural ecosystems to one metric
– carbon. Emphasis on restoring ecosystems to balance ecosystem services, biodiversity
conservation and carbon sequestration is a more appropriate strategy to protect their
functioning.
Carbon removal certification and carbon farming | CAP Reform
The concept of ‘net zero’ greenhouse gas emissions enshrined as the EU target in the European Climate Law implies that there will continue to be ‘unavoidable’ emissions in 2050 which will need to be offset by carbon removals from the atmosphere. For example, it is not possible for primary agriculture to reduce its gross emissions
