IET Digital Library: AlGaAs/GaAs tunnelling diode integrated with nanometre-scale oxides patterned by atomic force microscope
IET Digital Library: AlGaAs/GaAs tunnelling diode integrated with nanometre-scale oxides patterned by atomic force microscope
The authors have fabricated a tunnel diode comprising a two-dimensional electron gas channel formed at an AlGaAs/GaAs heterojunction by molecular beam epitaxy and nanometre-scale oxides locally generated using an atomic force microscope (AFM). The AFM-generated oxide lines have been adopted as integral parts of the device, for the first time serving as effective tunnel barriers for single electron transport.

Phys. Rev. Lett. 67, 516 (1991) - Coherent destruction of tunneling
The phenomenon of tunneling is investigated for a symmetric double-well potential perturbed by a monochromatic driving force. The analysis is based on a numerical treatment of the quantum map that propagates the system over one period of the external force, and of the spectrum of its eigenphases (quasienergies). The variety in the quasienergy spectrum, such as exact and avoided crossings, leads to novel forms of coherent tunneling. In particular, for specific parameter values of the driving force, we find almost complete localization of the wave packet in one of the wells.

Auto-Indexing Tunnels with For Loops and While Loops in LabVIEW - National Instruments
When wiring through a While Loop or For Loop, the tunnels for the wires are either solid or have square brackets on them. What is the difference between these tunnels? How can I change them? When wiring through a While Loop or For Loop, the data type entering is different than the data type exiting. Why is this?

A continuous i.-r. absorption observed in solutions containing hydrogen bonds with symmetrical double minimum potential well may be due to tunnelling protons producing a fluctuating field causing attractive proton dispersion force. This decreases for tunnelling frequencies >5 × 10 s since the fluctuating dipole mom
