A FiLiA Legacy Project to raise awareness of the impact on mothers affected by decisions made by the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and fight against injustices perpetuated by this legislation.

The goal of our campaign is simple – legislative and regulatory change that will make NDAs unenforceable for anything other than their original purpose – the prevention of sharing confidential business information (“intellectual property”) and trade secrets. NDAs are unnecessary for protecting victim identity (which can be protected with a simple one sided confidentiality clause), catastrophically damaging to innocent parties, and immoral when they hide harmful information from the public. Every day NDAs are being used by the rich and powerful to protect themselves. Legislators and regulators must speed up reform and we are here to make sure this issue stays firmly on their radar.

MFW is a large online group of women and men who’ve had it with the bias and lack of truth in most of our mainstream media. We jointly call ourselves witches (yes, even the men), and our common characteristic is that we care about the climate crisis, science, facts, and ridding the world of sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and all similar forms of hate and bigotry. For more than five years we’ve called out these injustices on social media, and for almost two years we’ve organised and operated large grass-roots collective campaigns to teach people about the dangers of a mainstream media which is largely set up to benefit the powerful and well-connected rather than the average citizens it’s meant to serve. If you care about making the world a better place and ridding it of incipient authoritarianism and attacks on democracy, get on board with MFW. It matters. And it works.

We are a non-partisan group working across the political spectrum to advocate for sex-based rights of women and girls. We hold a range of events exploring sex-based issues from the erasure of womanhood to pornography, to technology. This group is chaired by Dr Kathleen Richardson, a university professor in Leicester. Kathleen was born in Nottingham and returned after 25 years. She studied at UCL and Cambridge and her work on robotics, AI and online social networking has always taken a critical look at orthodox academic trends. You can find out more about her here.
