The Immaculate Deception
The Immaculate Deception
In the suburbs of Rotterdam, there’s an old farmhouse with iron gates, custard-coloured walls and a large model stork perched on the roof. For decades this was the home of Dr Jan Karbaat, the leading fertility doctor in the Netherlands. It’s also where he ran his private clinic, giving treatment and hope to women who were desperate to start a family. Estimates put the number of children conceived there at around 10,000.

2 Bit Musicologists
2 Bit Musicologists
Many have the idea that classical music is something only to be appreciated with polite applause at the appropriate time. Only string quartets to play in the background while reading or falling asleep. That those piano sonatas and operas were written by untouchable genius’. We’re here to knock classical music off it’s pedestal. “Classical” music and the modern day musical aren’t as far apart as you would think. Movie soundtracks wouldn’t be the same without opera, and you wouldn’t believe the riots and revolution that could be caused by just one piece. 2 Bit Musicologists deep dive into the eccentricities of composers, fun facts of musicals, and the impacts of music throughout the centuries. So dive in! After all, there’s a whole world of music out there, it’s time to explore!

Gender Critical Story Hour • A podcast on Anchor
Gender Critical Story Hour • A podcast on Anchor
A semi-monthly podcast hosted by Amy Hamm and Esme Vee, two women who'd had enough of the madness brought about by gender identity ideology. Hosts Amy is co-founder of GIDYVR, a speaker series on gender identity based in Vancouver BC. She’s also a mother, a nurse, and sometimes a writer. Esme is a mom and long-time Toronto media worker who, like many gender critical activists, uses a pseudonym to guard against losing her livelihood. She hopes to come out one day soon. Amy and Esme are founding members of Canadian Women's Sex-Based Rights - caWsbar. "I'm Woman" courtesy Nehanda.
