A basketball player might end up stuck in mid-air. But when we mute, the action or activity keeps going, but now there is no sound. Basketball player keeps playing. We just can't hear him. 3. (go on a walk, call a friend or relative on the phone, write a letter, draw a picture, jump on a trampoline, etc., etc.???) 3.
