They leave Bucky under the care of Hill and Sitwell and take a walk. They end up in Abingdon Square Park. The sky is heavy and no one else seems to want to stand and stay still. The city is full of people dashing about, and Steve thinks he could no more join in than he could turn into a flamingo. “Thank you,” he says to Natasha. “I didn’t do it for you,” she says. Steve pushes his hands into his pockets, and leans back on the railing. “I know.” Steve and Natasha bring Bucky back, and then deal with his recovery. I like how much Steve feels in this, even though he never quite articulates it, and how Bucky (and everyone else) knows. A bit British in spots, though it didn't make me stop reading.

per the author: this is the telepathic jerking off story. No, nothing else happens in it. Pretty much. Steve and Bucky, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, have found themselves with a psychic bond. Very hot telepathic jerking off ensues.

Steve visits the underworld to get Bucky back. This a really wonderful retelling/fusion of Orpheus and Eurydice.

Kate and Noh-Varr wake up space-married. Needless to say, they're not happy about it. This is adorably in character.

Bucky meets the Endless. I liked the bits with Delirium and Dream best, but it's all interesting.

Five times Joan Waston refused to entertain Sherlock's demands for training. Really nicely done, gets Joan and Sherlock just right.

Oh, god. Bucky’s broken him. Bucky knew it would happen eventually. He just thought, you know, it’d happen in a more violent fashion. A bullet from his sniper rifle ricocheting, an ill-placed boot to the groin during training, finally punching Tony Stark in his smug arc reactor and blowing them all to kingdom come after the 200th crack about freezer burn affecting manhoods. But a declaration of love? That’s just sad. This is adorable.
