Careful, and quiet, and they drink cold water from canteens and glance at each other between swallows at the timed breaks on their march. When the break is over, Bucky walks next to Steve each time (of course he does), and their elbows brush every few minutes for the next couple of hours before they stop again. Short, sweet post-rescue Steve/Bucky in which they do a lot of stoic pining in a very small amount of time.

Really excellent Darcy/Clint that takes its time hooking them up and allows Darcy's relationships with the other Avengers to grow organically; I especially like her friendship with Steve and Pepper, and Clint's with Natasha and Coulson.

Zuko's tutors noted his diligence, while Azula's praised her brilliance, and everyone knew which one of those was worth something. So he had good penmanship, so what? There were palace scribes on hand at any hour if someone wanted something written. One of Zuko's less lethal hobbies saves the day after his agni kai with Azula. I really liked this type of firebending, and Zuko's cleverness in using it to make his case to his people.

Because Tim Drake would be a superhero fanboy in any universe. Aw, Tim.

Tony convinces Tim Drake to train Pepper as his sidekick/witty best friend. Oh my god, this is so perfect. I especially like the idea of Tim and Tony geeking out in the workshop. Tony wears her shirts low and her jeans lower, because she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to take it. Tony wears sunglasses, because she knows her fucking tells.

He suddenly feels way too warm, despite the fact he's only wearing a towel he's now hanging onto for dear life. Bucky ambles over to the bathtub—an old-fashioned clawed monstrosity that is one of Steve's favorite things about the apartment—and perches on the edge of it. He hooks his hands over the side and smiles slowly at Steve, while Steve tries to not look as dumbfounded as he feels. NNnnnnnnggggggggghhhh... So this is an AU where Bucky is a rentboy and Steve is trying to save him and there is a lot of REALLY HOT UST WHILE BUCKY LOUNGES AROUND IN LEATHER PANTS. Ahem. Yes. It is good. You should read it.
