Red Robin decides it's a great idea to livestream patrol while Batman's off-world. It goes about as well as you'd expect. This is ridiculously fun and I wanted it to go on forever.
Damian has picked up a hobby that he's determined to keep a secret. It's a good thing he has friends to back him up. Damian getting to have friends and adventures that have nothing to do with being a vigilante!
Costumes, Conversations, Blanket Forts and Blackmail by @Writerwyrm.ao3
It's the last night of wearing the Discowing suit, and Jason is more than ready to hang it up for good. or: All conversations go better in a blanket fort. This is adorable!
“You want to tell them about the origins of this thing, because it’s important.” Dick nods. “It’s important that your mother gave it to you, and it’s important also, in the sense that all of your siblings consider it important to themselves. You all share it. It is meaningful that you all share it, and would become even more meaningful if you all understood each dimension of it.” [...] “But I’m not sure it will be received that way.” Dick thinks about finally telling his siblings where the name Robin comes from. *sobs*
Globe-trotting, League-fighting hero duo Black Swan and Red Hood are up for admission to the Justice League. If only Batman could figure out who they were. AU where instead of going back to Gotham to get revenge, Jason absconds from the League with Damian and teams up with Cass to be superheroes. I enjoyed this a lot.
Save My Life and You're Responsible For Me (And That's Your Problem Now) by @Killbothtwins.ao3
Han and Chewie tell many stories about the origins of their partnership. Possibly they don't even know which one is true anymore. This is adorable and hilarious.
The Republic sends a combat photographer to be attached to the 212th until further notice, citing the need for a morale boost. The clones make up a fake clone, citing the absolute fact that it is very funny. Somehow, these two things save the galaxy. This is so great! A fun and heartwarming fix-it for the galaxy.
A Temporary Good (Come to Those Who Deserve It) by @RandomReader13.ao3
When the BAU is called in to track an unsub that's going on a killing spree spanning 3 states, they're expecting a rapidly devolving psychopath. What they get instead is a wise-cracking vigilante on a mission. Are they ready for the Red Hood? And is the Red Hood ready for them? AKA: “Okay,” Jason muttered to himself, shifting the car into drive. “Just a couple’a dumb feds. Nothing to worry about.” I enjoyed this.
“Why shouldn’t I kill him right now? Why shouldn’t I, when you’ll never be the one to do it?” The plan is off the rails, the plan is absolutely fucked, Jason feels hysteria crawling up his throat but this isn’t the way it was supposed to go, he doesn’t know where to go from here. Bruce’s voice is quiet. “I have.” Jason's great plan for revenge gets derailed but things work out for the better in the end.
When Jason returns to Gotham, neither Batman nor the Joker have been seen in years. It's up to Jason to figure out what happened. I enjoyed this AU a lot.
Damian has never understood Drake. At least, not until he gets a confusing phone call on patrol. --- Tim gets a pet. He and Damian bond over it. It's wholesome. Oh my heart! #i'm not crying it's just raining on my face
in which Remus Lupin has an unexpected reunion with a presumed-dead schoolfriend on the way to his new job, and Peter Pettigrew never gets the chance to escape. ((or: harry has a very eventful train ride to school, followed by the most normal year ever)) Remus gets to be a big damn hero!
Okay so, sometimes, Anakin would like to point out, you accidentally kidnap a Jedi Youngling and then have to make the walk of shame to the Creche four days later to give them back to their Crechemaster and kind of hope they casually overlook the fact that you, a newly promoted Jedi Knight, let a ten-year-old stow away on your ship for the duration of your mission. It just happens, alright? This is adorable!
Some Finer Points of Big and Little Brothering by @Ptelea.ao3
Shifting patterns takes a little time and work and understanding. In which Tim considers some of the complications and rewards of brotherhood; Dick occasionally takes a stab at setting a boundary; and Jason is atypically talkative. Post-ep for Wayne Family Adventures, Big Brother 1 and 2 (Episodes 27 and 28). Siblings!
Jason and raccoons have a lot in common. (Additionally: his so-called family are much bigger pests than the stray animals hanging around his safehouse.) ADORABLE.
What We Say Three Times Is True by @jedibuttercup.ao3
The worst thing about the Black Book job, in Alec's opinion, wasn't the fact that he'd had to lie to Parker and Eliot for most of a year about why they were really in Portland. It was that they had to leave the Bridgeport Brewpub behind. Parker and Hardison get their man.
something to believe in your heart of hearts by @napricot.ao3
Bucky and Sarah have busy holiday seasons ahead of them: Bucky's reconnecting with his family, and Sarah's former mother-in-law has come to stay for her annual holiday visit. As if that wasn't enough, Sarah and Bucky both have to deal with well-meaning relatives trying to set them up with other people when that's the last thing they want or need. There's a simple solution to that problem though, in the form of one little white lie to get them through the stressful holiday season. They can claim to be dating each other. Oh my gosh, this is so sweet and lovely and hopeful.
Sokka’s beautiful friendship with Zuko doesn’t start with breaking Dad out of jail. That’s just what he tells people. Sokka’s beautiful friendship with Zuko started the day he realizes that he knows how to cook. Feat. breakup cake, an attempted assassination, and eating out of the pan like dirty heathens. This is ADORABLE.
Obi-Wan set foot aboard the Death Star knowing he was about to die. No one was more surprised than he to find out he was wrong. Obi-Wan makes it back to Yavin and trains Luke and Leia. Leia's not too keen on this Jedi business, but she'll do whatever it takes to win. This worries both her and Obi-Wan.
Natasha had no intention of acknowledging her feelings for Steve -- much less acting on them -- until her sister showed up and forced her hand. Oh my gosh so many excellent tropes, and Yelena being an excellent little sister too.
Tim starts his night trying to calm down a graduate student with a ray gun. He has no idea that he is part of a time loop. Future Tim (which will be him in three minutes) won a second round of the Titans Tower fight and managed to put Jason on the path to coming home. Past Tim didn't do much other than think he was dreaming when he met a much calmer Jason. Future Tim decided that three minutes was plenty of time to figure out just get everything right and stabilize a time loop on the first try. No pressure. I enjoyed this!
stand a little stronger as I walk a little taller all the time by @inlovewithnight.ao3
Post season 2, Jamie does a PSA for the National Council on Domestic Violence. He does not expect anyone to notice this. He is not aware that he's surrounded by people who notice everything.
