Long, thoughtful AU where Anakin makes a different choice and ends up keeping his family and helping to found the rebellion.

However, neither of them know that Darth Vader actually cares for his son, so the news ends up creating a Sith Lord hell bent on destroying anyone even remotely involved in Luke's demise. But when Leia tries to contact an in-hiding Luke, she finds that something terrible has really happened, and now no one knows where he is. Meanwhile, Darth Vader starts getting a mysterious, unwilling visitor in his dreams... Epic, compelling AU where Luke faking his death is only the beginning of his adventures. I enjoyed this a lot.

“They look just like you.” Gen caught and kissed one of Hector’s tiny flailing hands. “They look like babies,” she said. They were small and red and impossibly fragile and sometimes when Attolia held them, she could only think of all the things she’d broken. “They have your nose,” said Eugenides, as if he hadn’t heard her, “and your eyes.” He ran a finger lightly over his son’s soft skin. “They are going to be as beautiful as their mother and we are going to have to beat their suitors away with sticks.” “You can exile all of the suitors to Ferria,” she told him, finally smiling and nudging him with her knee. “We’ll start a colony.” This is a fantastic coda to the series, with a pitch perfect Irene voice and a sure and steady hand on the narrative and the plot. Wonderful!

Gen tries to matchmake for Costis and Kamet, who definitely need assistance of some sort. I enjoyed this a lot!

On the afterlife, and the people Jason Mendoza found there. This is a fantastic look at Jason and his relationships.

The first thing she’s going to do when finals are finished, Steph decides, is hunt down every last paparazzi and throw batarangs at their cameras. Maybe their computers too while she’s at it. Whatever it takes to make sure she’s never written about again. Because, as it turns out, way too many people are invested in her love life. This is super cute!

Dutch arrives on a space station to do a job and is surprised to see a very familiar ship a few berths over. Just before his year away is up, Dutch runs into Johnny and Lucy.

To Belters, there’s no difference between up and down. Front, back, high, low; it’s all relative in zero-g. Figures that nothing about the two of them would run in a simple, straight line. On Naomi, Drummer leaves a mark. I enjoyed this.

This is a nice glimpse of life after the war.

In their new lives, Ali wants to lay to rest the last secret between him and his brother. this is a really lovely look at Ali and his relationships after the end of the books.

Excellent coda to the movie - I could totally see things happening this way.
