He spends so much of his time doing triage: Gotham’s crime rate, the lumbering behemoth of a company he’s been left in charge of, sometimes living and breathing people dripping blood onto the concrete. So what if it’s only sheer willpower getting him out of bed every day. He’s doing what he has to. He’s doing what’s expected of him. Early on in his tenure as Batman, Bruce is having a rough night. Selina helps. Oh Bruce.

Rex finds out Obi-Wan is alive. This is lovely.

Two nights in a safe house. Written for my prompt, Dick and Jason watch over each other after being fear gassed (at separate times) and begin repairing their relationship. Oh heart.

Trixie helps protect Maze from nightmare monsters.

Dick gets a text to come pick up a lost phone since his number – filed under N – is the only one in the contacts. Dick helps Jason out, even if Jason didn't ask for the help. Oh heart.

While out on patrol one night, Bruce encounters a kidnapping attempt. A pretty routine night, unfortunately. When the victim in question happens to be a 9-year-old Jason Todd, however, Bruce finds himself getting a little too attached to a child he just met. Was it okay to kidnap a child right off the street and keep him? Bruce just wants to keep Jason safe. Jason is afraid Bruce has bought him for nefarious reasons. Alfred is the best. They eventually work things out. *sniffle*

A virus has brought the world’s most powerful country to its knees.

Jason's death and resurrection gives him a window into seeing death where it touches other people. He and Dick team up on a case when it gets a little overwhelming for him. I enjoyed the case and the growing feelings/pining a lot.

After his confrontation with Bruce and the Joker goes bad, Jason washes up in Bludhaven and begins forming a tentative connection with Dick. This is lovely.

Dick and Jason get hit by a love curse. (They do not get hit by a love curse.) As the author's notes put it, Dick and Jason's secret relationship is so secret, even they don't know about it. Boys are so dumb about feelings.

Miles goes on a road trip with the various Spider-people. This is fun and sweet.

Steph and Jason meet as little kids when their fathers are planning crime. This is adorable.

Cass observes her family on the way home from a mission. This is lovely.

Long (250k words!) compelling AU where Vader raises Luke and Leia to be servants of the Empire, but eventually they learn some unsettling truths and have to decide their own paths.

Red Hood helps Batgirl take down some goons, and in the process they -- through absolutely no fault of their own-- sorta destroy one of Bruce’s prized motorcycles. This is adorable.

Another story where Steph and Jason bond over being the only ones in the family who know how to cook.

“Quickly. Up,” the man at Joe’s side says, lifting beneath Joe’s elbow, and Joe doesn’t know him but somehow he thinks, I’d follow you anywhere, and then he gets up and he does. Or: the one where Joe has amnesia but he and Nicky are still devoted husbands. This is achingly lovely.

Sweet story of Nakia and T'Challa's wedding day. This is just darling.

Harry from an alternate universe where there was no second war with Voldemort gets sent to the canon universe and finds everything really weird, though not as weird as Hermione and Draco find him. This is really fun (though I was kind of hoping for Harry/Luna at the end there...)

Bucky twists in his arms and looks up. He’s beautiful, illuminated only by the streetlights coming through the window. “You...really don’t give a fuck,” Bucky says, his voice all wonder. “Who doesn’t have a past?” Steve tells him. Steve will remember this, too: the moment when the light finds Bucky’s eyes. This time, Steve kisses Bucky goodnight before they go to sleep — just a small kiss, sweet and tender, passing like a prelude, like a promise. This is a really beautifully written (comics) AU, and also NAMOR is GREAT.

Really lovely slice of life with Nile spending some downtime with Joe and Nicky.

Penthe and Arha share a stolen moment, along with some stolen food. This is really lovely, and as always, I hope Penthe escaped the Place when it collapsed.

Artoo tries not to think about what happened to Anakin, but sometimes he can't help it. Oh my heart.

Andromache tells him: "The Greeks used to have seven different words for love. Well. More, probably. But I remember seven." She shrugs. "There are many ways to love one another, and life is long. We've time enough for them all. It's the only thing that makes it worthwhile." Nicky and his immortal family, over the centuries. Lovely.
