Rey and Chewie take a wrong turn on the way to Ach-To and end up at Hogwarts instead, where Rey learns a little bit about magic. This is a delight from start to finish.
Peter is unmasked on live television, and everyone goes berserk—you've already heard this one but here's the twist—he's wide-eyed, staring into the camera, frightened, but not because of his own safety. The first thing that comes out of his mouth is, "Someone please, please protect my Aunt May." And the entirety of New York cries out simultaneously. Heroes and neighbours and fellow students rain down on the Parker house, ready to defend her. this could use another editing pass, but I sobbed my face off reading it, because the people of NYC defending Peter Parker (and here, Aunt May) is one of my very favorite tropes and this delivers in spades.
Crossover AU where the Weechesters are living next door to Frank Castle when John dies, and he takes them in. The series is ongoing but the first two stories are complete. I enjoyed this a lot. (there has yet to be a rat pack joke but I live in hope.)
Regulus destroys the locket and survives, making a different life for himself away from wizarding Britain. Voldemort rises and Regulus realizes it's time to go home. Long, engrossing (occasionally overwritten) AU where he does just that, and a number of things change (like, most importantly to me, Sirius survives the Department of Mysteries). Complete, but first in a series.
AU series (four stories so far, but I feel it reached a fine stopping point if it's never contnued) where Obi-Wan sends a 7yo Luke back in time to save Anakin from falling. Oh Luke. I enjoyed this, but it has some very heartbreaking moments in it.
“But you were chosen—” “Chosen to live when all the rest of them died. I didn’t want that. I should have fallen on Helheim with my sisters. The wings are supposed to mean glory, but all they brought me was life. And I didn’t want it.” “Maybe the glory is yet to come,” Thor said. She hated him as much as she loved him, that he could say things like that and seem as though he meant them, that he could look at her all calm and one-eyed and still not remind her of his father. He demanded things from her just by existing. And she had no answer for his hopefulness. Sharp and sad.

Aunt May decides it’s time to have a serious talk with Tony Stark about Peter’s internship. Ahahahaha this is AMAZING and PERFECT and I'm only sad it didn't go on a little longer so May could yell at Steve too.
He knows what he wants. He wants Rey and Poe and Rose to be Rey and Poe and Rose, and he wants to be Finn with them. He wants to kiss them, and a little more than just kiss them. He wants to make the galaxy a better place, and he wants them all to survive making the galaxy a better place. Rey and Poe and Rose keep kissing Finn but Finn isn't sure what any of it means. Oh Finn. I especially love Leia's oblique commentary that goes right over his head. This is adorable.
Batman and Robin rescue a baby. Bruce and Damian have a talk. GROSS SOBBING. OH MY HEART. This is a really lovely look at their relationship and all the things that hang over it.
When a picture of sixteen year old Bruce Wayne resurfaces, his family will not let him live it down. Bruce Wayne is pretty good at makeup, partly because of bruise-coverage but not only for that. These things are definitely related. Teenage Bruce in eyeliner leads to hilarity and a little bit of Batfam bonding. Oh heart.
When Gina started talking about how Captain America moved in next door to her, complete with a rap breakdown including the lines, "with his glorious American-made booty, it's a star-spangled thing of beauty," and how she was initiating a five-step plan to tap dat, the precinct just assumed that Captain America was a nickname for whatever unfortunate hottie made a real estate blunder and ended up her neighbor. HILARITY. Oh my gosh, I think I scared my neighbors with how loud I laughed.
“How will you be like her, Leia?” She smiles. “Fashion queen, political mastermind, close friendship with the Jedi--” “I’ll shoot straight.” Enfys throws back her head and laughs. Enfys Nest at the court of Alderaan. I liked this a lot.
“Okay, okay. Then you should’ve asked me to wait for you. Called me, sent me a postcard, anything. Just—I’d have waited, Buck, I swear. For as long as you needed.” “As I recall, patience isn’t one of your strong suits,” said Bucky fondly. “But yeah. Maybe.” “Can we—can we stick together from now on, Buck? I mean—I know I have to leave Wakanda next week, I know you have to stay and we’re still fugitives, but—it hasn’t worked out so great, us being apart. So can we…” can we be steveandbucky again, he wanted to say, but found that his courage didn’t extend so far, because what if Bucky said no— Bucky didn’t say no. Bucky smiled, wide and deep enough that it reached his eyes, but Christ, still so sad. “Hasn’t always been up to us, has it?” he said, terribly gentle. “I want that though. To, you know—” “Yeah?” “Yeah.” really lovely story of Steve and Bucky finally realizing their feelings for each other while Bucky recovers in Wakanda.
After almost stealing from a goddess's home, John instead ends up staying there as her mortal companion, but he doesn't know which goddess she is, because she refuses to tell him. A Cupid and Psyche AU. Oh heart.
