Steve nods and looms intimidatingly. “We had a very productive conversation while you were unconscious.” Rage contorts Zemo’s face into something ugly. “What?” he repeats. “Did your whole plan hinge on us not communicating with each other like adults?” asks Tony. The look on Zemo’s face is answer enough. “Oh my god, it did!” Wilson offers him a hand up, and Tony holds his hands out to everyone for high fives. No one takes him up on it. So much for team-building. “Hey everybody, good job, we used our words and we derailed this guy’s whole revenge plan, we are so great. Next up, figuring out the Accords!” The power comes back on, and everyone flinches and covers their eyes for a second. “Wait, how are we getting Barnes out of here?” A great fix-it not just for the plot dumbassery of Civil War, but for Tony and Pepper as well. Hilarious and adorable!
Really excellent story where Aravis learns to fit in as best she can in Archenland, and she and Cor pine for each other obliviously until finally they have to talk. I gasped and clutched my chest in happiness when they did.
After Midland Circle, Melvin notices things don't get back to normal, not completely. And then he ends up meeting the other Defenders, who turn out to be nice and helpful, even if they try to hide it. Oh my heart. Melvin, the guy who makes Daredevil's suit, gets to meet the other Defenders.
Frank Castle gets the news. He doesn't take it well. This is really striking and sharp, a great look at both Frank and Jessica. (Major spoilers for Defenders)
After the war against the First Order ends, everyone seems to want something from Rey, but all she wants is time to figure out what she wants. Finn and Poe propose a marriage that will keep everyone at bay until she's ready, and it seems like a good idea. The only danger is that she's really in love with them. This is really lovely and made me all achy in the chestal area.
“Are you kidding me?” Jessica asks, flat, and Matt quirks an eyebrow. “Jesus Christ, everyone’s right, you have no sense of self-preservation. What’re you gonna do next, ask Danny to fist you?” “Well,” Matt says carefully, “no.” Matt and Jessica bond through sex. Hot.
As she approached, Jason asked, clearly delighted, “Why are you infamously good at ping pong?” “I might play sometimes in the student center,” Steph said, refusing to be ashamed. “It’s great stress relief.” “I can think of better ways,” Jason said, and Steph wasn’t sure if he wanted it to be a come-on or not but wow did it put some images in her head. “So are you into competitive beer pong?” she asked, because she needed to change the subject. She gave him her very best ‘please say no’ look. There was no way it would end well. They could totally find another way to bond with the Sapersteins… “Hell yeah,” Jason said instead, because after all, he was a known asshole. Steph gave him a look that she hoped told him that she thought so, and they followed Raquelle down to the basement. This is SO GREAT you guys. Even Robins teaming up to take down hilariously OTT criminals and also have makeouts. ♥♥♥

Rex and Ahsoka end up being used as guinea pigs for a weaponized aphrodisiac. The tension is ratcheted up expertly, the sex is hot, and all the feelings made me a little achy in the chestal area.
Jason slowly works his way through his stuff and back into the family, with emphasis on his relationships with Cass and Steph. ♥♥♥ Hilarious and heart-clenchy. (This is a series with 6 stories - while the series is still in progress, all the stories so far are complete.)
"Prongs," Remus said, on their way back up to Gryffindor Tower, both he and James carefully carrying a near-overflowing mug of cocoa in each hand, "I -- thank you." "What for?" James asked, in genuine surprise. They stopped at the bottom of a staircase, waiting patiently for it to swing around to the direction they wanted to go. Remus found that James was looking at him closely. "Remus, you do know we do all these daft things because we love you." Coming from Lily or Sirius, such a sentiment would have been definitely overwhelming and possibly mortifying. James said it the way he said We're going to win the Cup this year or We've decided to become Animagi, the way he said everything, with cheerful confidence that the world was going to bend around his whim. James Potter here declares that the last week of Remus's life wasn't a fever dream or a favor, but something natural, and Remus's due. Remus blushed fiercely and stared down at the froth of whipped cream in one of the mugs. "That's why I'm thanking you," he managed. Relationships are complicated, especially when you're a teenager, so it's great that Lily and Sirius are brilliant enough to figure things out.
