Blizzard has recently made a major adjustment to the matchmaking system in Overwatch 2 in an attempt to create a fair and balanced gaming experience. However many players are still unsatisfied with the current state of the matchmaking system. Despite constant efforts from the development team to improve the system fans have been complaining about unbalanced matches especially at higher ranks. The latest change to the matchmaking system involves a tighter MMR distribution which is used to balance matches and rankings. This change may result in shorter queue times particularly in high MMR and group matches. However reducing the spread of MMR has proven to be challenging especially for players who are playing in a group. Many players have expressed their disappointment in the latest change stating that they have not seen significant improvements in high-ranking lobbies. Some players have also reported being matched with players of vastly different ranks resulting in unbalanced matches....

Many players have expressed their disappointment in the latest change, stating that they have not seen significant improvements in high-ranking lobbies. Some players have also reported being matched with players of vastly different ranks, resulting in unbalanced matches. Despite the criticism, the Overwatch 2 development team continues to work on the matchmaking system and fans can only hope for better improvements in the upcoming Season 4.

Nreal has announced that it is planning to add support for Windows to its Nreal Air AR glasses. This new feature will make the glasses compatible with Nebula for Windows which once installed can turn the Air glasses into the equivalent of an ultrawide monitor giving gamers the experience of playing on a 21:9 curved monitor. Engadget has reported that 68% of Air users currently use the headset for gaming so adding a gaming aspect to Windows compatibility is a logical next step. Nebula for Windows is expected to provide users with three degrees of freedom (3-DoF) allowing them to move their heads and have inputs mapped in-game. However it will not support tilting or moving through 3D space. Though Nreal has not yet indicated when the Windows support will be introduced the company has brought its team to the GDC 2023 event in San Francisco this week which suggests that it sees the Air AR headset as a viable gaming accessory.
