Angela Rayner, born on March 28, 1980, in Stockport, is a prominent British Labour Party politician and Deputy Prime Minister since July 2024. She has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashton-under-Lyne since 2015 and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party since 2020. Known for her working-class background, Rayner left school at 16 without qualifications and worked as a care worker before becoming a trade union representative with UNISON.
