Provincial Headquarters of the State Police in Brest
The Provincial Headquarters of the State Police in Brest was part of the 14th Polesie District, established in 1920. The following district headquarters operated within the Polesie Police District: Brest, Drohiczyn, Kamień Koszyrski, Kobryń, Kosów, Łuminiec, Pińsk, Pruzhany, and Sarny. The activities of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Police were ended by the outbreak of World War II.

The archive currently contains 65 digitized chronicles from 1944 to 2022. Some entries (1944-1959) were processed retrospectively, based on available newspaper reports, articles, and documents stored in in the MsNV archive, eyewitness accounts, etc. Since 1959, chronicles in the city of Prešov have been kept chronologically.
