Trinity Church of Marshfield Parish Register | Plymouth County, MA
This old handwritten Parish Registry book containing births, deaths, marriages, and financial, Parish Meeting and Vestry meeting records, among other material, which date from about 1773 to 1868. (There are no known documents covering this Church of England parish, from the time it was founded c. 1740 through 1773.) This former Anglican church, referred to as Trinity Church of Marshfield, was built and first used about 1740 in the Centre Marshfield neighborhood. Shortly following the Revolutionary War c. 1780, this same parish was recognized as the fourth parish of the Diocese of Boston.
