134th Infantry Regiment Website
The purpose of this website is to preserve and share documents and historical information related to the 35th Infantry Division and their activities during WWII. Most of these historical documents were obtained from the Nebraska State Historical Society's General Butler B. Miltonberger special collection, Lincoln, NE, the National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, MD, and the National Personnel Records Center, St. Louis MO. Additional documents, photographs and individual soldier stories were submitted by veterans, relatives and friends.

It was published by and for personnel of the 24th Infantry Regiment under supervision of the Public Information Office, 24th Infantry Regiment, Korea, APO 25. The African-American 24th Infantry was one of the last segregated regiments in the U.S. Army.

Consists of correspondence, photographs and printed items retained by Kentucky author and poet James Still during the Second World War. Sergeant Still served in the U.S. Army in East Africa and the Middle East from the summer of 1942 to September of 1945. He was a member of the Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron of the 8th Air Depot Group that was stationed near Accra, Gold Coast, British West Africa (presently Ghana).
