The Archive is a repository for memories of 416th veterans and records of their service during WWII. In addition to huge volumes of material obtained from the Air Force Historical Research Agency, and a variety of public domain sources, the Archive has grown through the contributions of many 416th veterans, their families, and friends.
The journal publishes commentary and ideas for U.S. military officers and leaders in the defense community. Each issue features original review and analysis articles offering ideas and perspectives about military strategy, doctrine, technology, procurement, logistics, and more. It is aimed at an expert audience across all services, agencies and defense-related industries, with most readers being field-grade and flag officers.
The purpose of this website is to provide a primary source of documentation for all of the Allied prisoners of the Japanese during WWII. Our goal is to determine what each man's unit was at capture then record what camps he was taken to and where he was rescued. Where possible, we will provide rosters of the hell ships, and, if a man perished, where, when and how.
