Signal Corps Historians’ Collection - USAHEC Arena
The collection includes Signal Corps historians’ notes and reference files covering the origin of the Corps during the Civil War to the end of the 20th century. Topics include Signal Corps history, training, organization, missions, evolution, and research in fields such as meteorology, polar exploration, electronics, data processing, telecommunications, photography, and radar. Also present are biographical sketches of Signal Corps personnel.

This site is a collection of email articles written in 2008-10 by Fred Gerstner with the photo contributions, memorabilia, and remembrances of ASA Frankfurt vets. The Comm Unit operated the Primary Communications Relay Station known as "Dachsbau" located in Grueneberg Park.
At the start of World War II, the United States Army bought Paramount's motion picture studio at 35th Avenue and 35th Street in Astoria, Long Island City, Queens, New York, taking over in February 1942. The studio became the Signal Corps Photographic Center, later Army Pictorial Center, home to filmmakers and still photographers who covered the war and who produced countless training films. This is the story of the people who served there.

Collection includes photographs from animal husbandry to food preparation to food inspection to the schools and class photos of the various instructional institutions that prepare Veterinary Corps members to do their jobs. There are photos dealing with cattle raising, farming practices both in the field and in the barn, slaughter houses, butchering and other food preparation, operations and experimentation, training of dogs for the K-9 Corps, the use of horses and mules and personnel of the Veterinary Corps.
