This collection contains material on 118 digitized manuscript church records, selected from our NC Baptist Historical Collection. The majority of the N.C. Baptist Church Records contain minutes of meetings, membership lists, and financial records.
The Digital Watauga Project is a collaborative effort between the Watauga County Historical Society and the Watauga County Public Library to preserve and display the High Country's archival memory.

Reddies River Primitive Baptist Church record book, 1798-1952 | Wilkes County, NC
This volume contains three sections: abstract of church membership (1798-1889), minute book I (1798-1909) [broken series] and minute book II (1909-1952). Minute book I is a transcription of the original church records. Title on spine is Reddies River Baptist Church Records. The church's name on the title pages of minute books I & II is Reddies River Primitive Baptist Church. The document is typewritten in a hardcover book by Paul W. Gregory.
Minutes of the Primitive Baptist Association | Wilkes County, NC
The Primitive Baptist Association conducted annual meetings of three days length in September or October. After the meeting, summary booklets were printed and distributed to all the churches. Most of these contain obituaries and some have photographs and poems.
