The Local History and Genealogy Department of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library (TLCPL) offers online access to a large selection of local and regional history materials for the purposes of research and education. Materials selected for digitization and inclusion in TLCPL’s Digital Collections are items from the Library’s physical collection as well as loaned items from community members and partners. The addition of new materials to TLCPL’s Digital Collections is ongoing and materials for inclusion are carefully vetted to ensure that the collection grows equitably.

Trinity Church of Marshfield Parish Register | Plymouth County, MA
This old handwritten Parish Registry book containing births, deaths, marriages, and financial, Parish Meeting and Vestry meeting records, among other material, which date from about 1773 to 1868. (There are no known documents covering this Church of England parish, from the time it was founded c. 1740 through 1773.) This former Anglican church, referred to as Trinity Church of Marshfield, was built and first used about 1740 in the Centre Marshfield neighborhood. Shortly following the Revolutionary War c. 1780, this same parish was recognized as the fourth parish of the Diocese of Boston.
Name and address guides to individuals and businesses throughout Clatsop County, including the communities of Astoria, Warrenton, Flavel, Hammond, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Knappa, Svenson, Jewell, and Westport.
This database includes issues of the Ocean Emblem, New Jersey Courier, Lakewood Daily Times, Ocean Monmouth and Burlington Fruit Grower, New Egypt Press, New Jersey Courier from December 10, 1852 through December 29, 1922 and others. It also includes the Tuckerton Beacon from 1917-1922. The complete Tuckerton Beacon Archive (1917-1987) is only available within any Ocean County location. All papers in the archive can be searched simultaneously. This digital archive is provided through a grant from the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission in partnership with the Ocean County Library.
