Registration Cards of Russian Emigrants, 1952–1952
This series contains registration cards compiled by the Foreign Pao Chia of the Shanghai Municipal Police, an organization established during the Japanese occupation to facilitate the compulsory registration of all foreign and Chinese residents. The records were maintained by the Central Intelligence Agency. The cards in this series relate only to Russian emigrants. Each card contains the following information: name, nationality, date and place of birth, occupation, address, numbers and name of family members, dates of renewal for registration, and the signature of the emigrant. Each card also contains a photograph of the emigrant.
