1st Full Album 'Thanks To' Letters

Hello, this is Kim Jiwoong. Before I became ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Jiwoong, my life was always like this wave ~ like the tide. On the outside, it might have looked pretty and beautiful, but inside I was collapsing, caught in deep pain, unable to swim out of the heavy waves. Every unexpected moment brought pain. And when burdens too heavy for a young me came surging in like giant waves, I didn’t know where to swim, or where I should be… At those times, what lifted my gaze from the deep water to the sky above was the warm sun. To me, who thought the world was filled only with coldness and didn’t know where to go, the sun showed me the way and made me a warmer person. Now, because of you, I know that the more my heart crumbles, the more pain I face, and the rougher the waves strike, the brighter and warmer the sun rises. And so now, I am no longer afraid of anyone, nor of the world. When the sun rises in the morning, you warm me. And when the sun sets in the evening, I will become the one who warms you in its place. I will always, everywhere, be grateful for this bond of ours. And for all the good people who brushed past me in every day, in every moment. Now that I am no longer afraid of the waves, I will face countless moments, grow stronger, and keep widening our beautiful bond. Just as I am, without conditions, I will love even more and be by your side as a strength through the flow of time. I love you. You’ve got this.

hello everyone, i’m zb1’s zhang hao. this is our 8th album, and is also our first full-length album. for us who is stepping into our third year since debut, this is moreso a completely new opportunity. they all say that groups who are able to release a full-length album are very lucky– behind a full-length album lies the thoughtful preparations by the members, the long term efforts of the staffs and the unconditional support of the fans and so forth and so forth– so many people’s efforts and energy coalesce together, to allow the name of ZB1 be well known by more and more people, and to allow everyone to grow together. i was originally a drifting star; thank you for giving (me) life. the star has successfully fallen into your heart, has grown to become an azure colored flower. NEVER SAY NEVER is the promise of nine boys dedicated to all those who have stayed by our sides. we don’t dare to dream of forever, only daring to love and to hate in this present moment. to not dare of desiring perfection, yet each moment spent with clear conscience and no regrets, with the only requirement being to receive a favored love by you, who is reading this text right now. zb1 might only be a part of life, yet is the piece that is the most vivid, and the one that holds the most weight. thank you to my members, thank you to my staff members, thank you to my fans, it’s only because of you all that i am often able to say proudly with my head held high that: i am a really, really great idol. i really love this occupation, and really love everyone too. (with that being said), please take care of me too for the promotions this time.

ZEROBASEONE's first full album. Truly something I didn't think I would say so soon. Soon as in how the 2 years we spent together as a family passed by us. Though time is something we cannot manipulate or change I'm still grateful for every moment we had. Makes us truly appreciate those moments. Thanks to the amazing staffs for always taking care of us. And of course this wouldn't be possible without my brothers. actually when i was a trainee there were lots of tough times but now i'm doing it together with the members so those tough times are fun ㅋㅋㅋ being able to do it together makes it doable and even if i have worries, we were together so i felt less worried. so thank you. for giving me so much happiness. and thank you for becoming the sunshine of our beloved zeroses. lastly our zerose~ i strangely got a little choked up too while writing this ㅋㅋㅋ when boys planet came out, i just went on it. i don't know if it makes sense but, i did it with the mindset that i'd do it without regrets. but the person who gave me hope was you. for the first time in my life, i felt its meaning. i'm grateful to zeroses for many reasons. but that was the very beginning! our memories are ours. no one else can make them and even if time goes by, memories are forever. just knowing that, can you always be zeroses in your hearts? since i'll also be zb1 forever in your hearts too ㅎㅎ. I love you always dear ♡

I am your first love, Kim Taerae. Already, so much time has passed. All the moments we laughed and cried together have come together to create this full-length album. This great work surely holds the sweat and unseen tears of many people. There were countless times along the way when I wanted to give up, when I wanted to return to being nothing at all. But because there were people waiting for ‘me’ and because there were members and staff who supported me despite my shortcomings, it became possible. Now, through this album, I hope ZEROBASEONE can firmly establish our identity as artists. And I believe we will. Just as we always have. Just like how it took a long time for 9 gems of different colors to shine in almost the same shade, we will always achieve good results. Please be with us in completing this journey.

(chinese) in the blink of an eye, it's already the 1st full length album, from being an unknown trainee up until now, it seems like time has flown by so fast, yet also feels like a long time has passed. to allow this process to happen & for this result to happen, the one i want to thank the most is you, i am able to do the thing i love right here & shine on stage. without you, this wouldn't have been possible. you importantly gave me confidence & have reminded me everyday that i have so many wonderful things about me & allowed me to be embraced in love on the road to my dreams. i will also use my daily efforts to bring all of these wonderful things to you as well. please look forward to this comeback~ (korean) i want to say i'm really thankful for the release of this 1st full-length album. more than anything, i want to give my biggest thanks to our zeroses, who made us & have continuously supported us since before the start! all of the achievements we've made so far are cannot be separated from our zeroses. i have said i always want to protect zeroses, but actually i think zeroses protect us even more. zeroses have already become an existence that must always be in my life. the only thing that we can do to repay is to keep moving forward. so we did our best this album & we all wanted to put out really good quality & we worked hard to do that. i think the luckiest thing is that i always have the members who are always by my side when working hard. thanks to the members, they have become a huge help whenever it was exhausting since debut up until now. they are really a family-like existence who have given me a lot of advice when i was in a difficult situation.
